Nisimax Bio is a nisin-based biopreservative, obtained via fermentation of Lactococcus lactis subsp. lactis (GMO-free).
Approved by the EU (E-234) , FDA and CODEX, nisin is a natural antibacterial peptide widely recognized for its ability to inhibit Gram-positive spoilage and pathogenic bacteria — including Listeria monocytogenes, Clostridium botulinum, Bacillus cereus, and Staphylococcus aureus.
